Mayfly Nymphs

Mayfly nymphs live on the stream bottom, and are available to trout year round. Mayflies and stoneflies have very similar body shapes, and can be difficult to tell apart. Most mayfly nymphs can be identified by their three distinct tails, and their single wing pad. They come in many different sizes and colors, and are typically smaller than most stonefly nymphs.
