Regarding dry fly fishing, is there anything better than watching fish rise to giant flies?!?! For the next short while on rivers across the west Pteronarcys (also know as the Salmonfly) will be abundant in numbers sufficient to attract most fish to rise. This can be some of the funnest fishing all year long.
If you haven’t already filled your boxes tying large foam bugs for this occasion we’ve got you covered. We’ve teamed up with Rainy’s Flies to offer our friends here at Fly Tying 123 a great selection of premium Salmonfly dry flies. These are the highest quality flies on the market. Rainy’s only uses the best materials available, and with top designers from around the world these innovative patterns not only attract fish but last through the sharp teeth of many trout without falling apart.
We are selling them in packs of 3 to help keep our costs down. Then again, would you really want less than three of any pattern? When it happens to be the fly of choice I’m confident you’ll want more than just one in your fly box, incase of breakoffs, or maybe that you will begin feeling bad for your fishing buddy who is watching you crush fish on the only fly they seam to want to eat (sharing is optional ;-). By keeping our cost low we are able to essentially give you 3 flies for the price of 2. Originally these patterns retail for $2.99, but we are happy to be offering them for an exceptional price of $1.99 each. Visit our store for more info regarding sizes and availability.
Check out our fly selection here and check back as we will be adding new flies each week.
