New Video: The Evolution of Nymphing

We have all experienced advancements in our fly fishing game. For me the biggest eye opener was introduced to me nearly nine years ago by my good friend Devin Olsen. From the first time I watched him apply European techniques I knew I needed to get in on this action. Thus began my own personnel progression toward catching more fish.

This morning I launched a short video that highlights Lance Egan and Devin’s own discovery of the effectiveness of European nymphing techniques. It is a fun story with some pleasing footage.

As we’ve launched our instructional video Modern Nymphing – European Inspired Techniques. It has been very rewarding to hear all the positive feedback from those who have purchased it. I’m confident it has the information necessary to help further most anyone’s ever evolving fly fishing skill set. This clip is actually the intro to the film. Just one more reason to purchase the film.

As I have found in my journey of learning and applying these techniques, there truly isn’t a better way to effectively catch fish on rivers and streams in most situations. If it’s fish you want to catch, then this video is for you.
